Hello:
I noticed you posted at MPB about a toaster method of attaching the shirt collar. Am dying to know what you mean. Is there an online link where I could look this up or could you educate me? Love your blog and am looking forward to reading more about your activities…
Thank you so much,
Susannah
I was HOPING that MPB would do a tutorial on the ‘toaster method’ since he is SO good at putting the tutorials together and writing out the instructions, but I checked this morning and, alas, he is putting the collar on using the ‘burrito method’ which works but . . . so I will do a tutorial on the ‘toaster method’ . It won’t be for probably another week – sorry! I’ve got another project to finish first.
I want to thank you for being you. Last week, I happened to surf onto your website by chance. I have been trying to get back (I have been saying that for years, no decades) into creating a new wardrobe for myself as I do not like what I find in the stores (price versus quality). I like your style. Your words like your clothes are refreshing and inspirational. Today I am going to JoAnn fabrics to purchase that Lagenlook pattern. So, now I surf onto your site to thank you and discover that you live near a fashion district. You are my new hero. Congrats on your fabric score. Nice picks.
Hello, I found you through Ooobop and I like your ruminations on sewing. I’m always amazed at how much bloggers create. Where do you find the time?!
Well if I am sewing other responsibilities get neglected – fortunately, I have a very understanding DH.
Hello there,
I saw on the comments of another blog that you had the How To Clone a Bra article from Threads and had offered it to another commenter by email. Would you mind terribly sending me a copy via email too? I’m in the UK and finding it impossible to get hold of a copy, and would really appreciate it if you could!
